MOVEMENT COACHING

MOVEMENT

Movement is information. How your body appears at rest and in motion tells a story about why things feel the way they do. I blend biomechanics, movement education, injury history, assessment and performance coaching to help you understand how your body loads and what to change first.

  • "After working with Jay all summer and seeing the shifts we have made to a more functioning and performing body, I can’t wait to see how many people he can help! I would recommend Jay to anyone looking to move and feel better!"

Taylor Austin - 2026 Olympian | #1 Bobsleigh Pilot World Cup | Pan Am Champion

  • “I’ve been working with Jay for a couple of months and have really enjoyed the experience so far. His communication is always clear and concise, with detailed video voiceover feedback provided through Onform, which is great. I’ve noticed steady improvements in my movement and alignment, and would definitely recommend him.”

Andrew Rae - Ski Instructor | CSIA Level 4 | Beavercreek & Thredbo Resorts

  • “Having worked closely with Jay through Anatomy in Motion (AiM), I can confidently state that his learning attributes and capacity for therapy are of the highest calibre. Beyond his technical knowledge, Jay brings an analytical and problem-solving mindset to his work - an asset that stems from his diverse academic background.”

WHAT I CAN HELP WITH

Back, knee, foot and neck discomfort. Movement restrictions, recurring movement issues, injury recovery and athletic performance.

WHAT I OFFER

3 Month Movement Integration

We begin with a comprehensive movement assessment that incorporates posture, gait, injury history, and how your body currently loads and moves. We’ll identify key movement patterns that may be contributing to recurring discomfort or limiting how you move.

From there, we work together over three months to integrate changes into real life: daily movement, training, and sport.

Who is this for? Those who want a deeper exploration of how their body has adapted to previous injuries or movement limitations.

6 Month Movement Integration

We’ll use findings from your assessment, along with ongoing observation and OnForm, to refine how you stand, walk, and move as your body adapts and changes. You’ll have ongoing access through OnForm to share videos, ask questions, and receive video review, voice-over feedback, exercise progressions, and guidance throughout the process.

Up to two 60-minute Zoom coaching sessions per month.

Who is this for? Those with a longer history of injuries or athletes looking to integrate lasting change into daily life, training and sport.

One-Off Movement Session

A focused 60-minute session to explore whatever is currently happening in your movement, training, or sport.

Bring a specific question, movement challenge, recurring issue, or something you’re simply curious to better understand. We’ll use the hour to explore what’s happening, what may be contributing to it, and what you can begin experimenting with.

Who is this for? This can also be a great starting point if you’re curious about working.
